Ethan Garber, CEO
Ethan has over 20 years of experience as a turnaround investor and entrepreneur. Ethan started his Wall Street career in the loan workout group of Chase Manhattan Bank followed by several years as an award-winning distressed debt research analyst (2001 Institutional Investor All Star) at several firms including Lehman Brothers and Jefferies & Co. From 2001 – 2008, Ethan co-managed a $1bn proprietary portfolio at both Bear Stearns and Credit Suisse where he served on numerous creditor committees of corporate restructurings. From 2008 thru 2010, Ethan was a settlement negotiator for the liquidation of the Lehman Brothers; derivative estate.
Ethan founded Convoy Solutions, LLC in early 2010 as an acquisition vehicle for purchasing the assets of Idleaire Technologies out of bankruptcy. In the eight years since, Convoy restarted IdleAir as the largest provider of truckstop electrification in the USA and since 2014 IdleAir has expanded into the private yards of large commercial carriers in the USA and northern Mexico.
Convoy has also developed a construction division performing EPC work designing and installing CNG time-fill fueling stations for large trash hauling operators. Convoy is currently developing a virtual dispatch service for medium and small fleets while growing its electrical infrastructure work with large private refrigerated trucking fleets.

Yale Klat, General Council and Director of Government Relations
Yale received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from Cornell in Environmental Management, and JD at the City University of New York Law School. He began his legal career at the Environmental Protection Bureau of the New York State Attorney General’s office, and now leads Convoy’s government relations efforts. Through that position, Yale secured and administered various government, power company, and nonprofit supported projects with a combined value in excess of $10mm. Yale carried out the successful completion public private partnerships under multi-site infrastructure grants funded under the US DOT’s Congestion Management and Air Quality, and US EPA’s Diesel Emissions Reduction Act. In addition, the following utilities have invested in new facilities built by Convoy; Duke Energy, TVA, and Entergy.
